Vehicular Music Sharing

I’m not a big complainer. Actually, that was a lie. That makes me both a liar and a complainer; but I digress.

I enjoy music; I enjoy driving; I enjoy thinking about things- sometimes I even enjoy combining all three.

I was driving to work the other day, pondering an upcoming surgery I was to perform, sorting through the various techniques of Natural Fat Transfer and Nano Stem Serum available. My windows were down, it was a lovely, quiet

morning, I had my car stereo purring at low volume; all was right with the world. Then the ground began to shake, the car vibrate, and I seemed to be under the spell of a traction beam from outer space….

Or was I?

The alien sounds were emanating from the car on my left: windows down, music full blast, no concern about the world or its other inhabitants. I was very, very annoyed. I turned my own radio off, just to make sure all this came from a single source. I leaned my head out the window and shouted something. He saw me, but of course he couldn’t hear me. I shouted it again. Again, he couldn’t hear.

So he turned the music down, and asked (loudly), “What??”

I said (also very loudly), “Thank you very much for sharing your music with me and everyone else on the block. I’m sure everyone appreciates your selections over our own.”

Then I said, “And by the way, you happen to be playing my favorite song. Thanks!!”

And I rolled up my window and drove away.
